지난 3월18일에는 내가 본부장을 맡고있는 한국아마추어무선연맹 광주광역시본부 창립42주년 기념식 및 정기총회가 있었다. 2022년의 마무리와 2023년 새해맞이를 우리 교회(무진교회)의 송구영신예배에 참석하여 새해의 소망을 빌고 축복기도를 받았습니다. 우리 교회(무진교회)의 금년 크리스마스예배에는 고려인 어린이합창단의 공연으로 성탄의 기쁨과 은총이 넘치는 예배가 되었다. 예배 후에는 코로나 펜데믹이후 처음으로 전교인 공동식사로 떡국을 먹었는데 떡국은 무각사에서 성탄을 축하하며 보내주었다. 12월21일 광주무역회관 연회장에서 개최된 한국여행업사업협동조합 "이사장 이취임식 및 송년의 밤" 행사에서 2년4개월간의 제2대 이사장직 임기를 잘 마치고 젊고 패기 넘치는 제3대 이사장에게 이사장직을 넘겨주었다. 11월24일에는 내가 이사장직을 맡고 있는 한국여행업협동조합의 월례회 겸 광주시 팸투어에 참석을 해서 비움박물관, 국립광주박물관,광주시립미술관을 둘러보았다. 비어있는 아름다움이란 뜻의 비움박물관에는 풀뿌리 농민들과 서민들이 실제로 사용했던 생활용품과 전통 민속물품 2만여 점이 전시되고 있는데 이는 모두 한 개인(이영화 관장)이 50평생동안 모아온 것들이라고 한다. 그리고 국립광주박물관과 광주시립미술관에서는 이건희컬랙션을 전시하고 있었다.
